Setup one: umbrella camera-left at 45 degrees, brighter background behind Kalie's darker wardrobe. Setup two: same umbrella redirected straight down, lower contrast, different weight.

Some of the best frames came from Kalie shaking her hair: stillness inside movement. We shot the sequence a few times to catch the right frame. Perfecting imperfection.

The wide angle showing the full setup was an artistic decision, not a behind-the-scenes note. The light and the space are part of the image.
